a surprise in albuquerque

hello world. my ears keep popping. i have decided to blame it on the driving because the alternative is that my sinus fun has gotten worse.

i love when babies sleep in their carseats. just saying.

so anyhow, we went on a little sight seeing jaunt before we hit the road this morning. (my dad is along for the ride, too, and knows places) turns out his grandpa is buried right here in albuquerque, a mile from our hotel. naturally, we had to visit and get a picture with my toesies after we (and by we i mean my superhero dad) cleaned the bird poo out of the "e".

i have a thing for cemeteries and the history they dredge up.

also, i highly recommend you bring a backup book with you on a road trip in the event that the book you picked up yesterday doesn't quite hold your attention like you hoped it would. you know, that or your phone so you can type up a post as you cruise along i-25 on your way to ft worth.
