No, I don't know NieNie. In all likelihood, I will never meet her. She's probably too cool for me anyway but would pretend that we were busoms because she's nice like that. Maybe it comes with the vegetarian lifestyle. Niceness, I mean.
I ran for her on Saturday. Now, I'm not telling all you this because I want you to laud me for my humanitarian goodwill efforts, after all I only donated $20 out of $5000. (yes, they raised $5000. how cool is that??)
I'm telling you this because of the 3.1 miles we covered, I only walked .2 miles. That's 2/10 of a mile for those of you who are mathematically challenged. Don't feel bad if you are, I'm creatively challenged and can't pick paint colors for the life of me. It all evens out.
But back to the .2 miles. Ask Shelly, I can't run. Ok, I lied. I can run, just not for very long. Have you seen us out in the neighborhood? Shelly coasting along with a smile on her face and her Nike whatchamacallit strapped to her shoelaces tracking her distance, and me, next to her, red faced, heaving from lack of oxygen. She even pushed me along once. Stuck her finger in my back (yes, like a bank robber) and pushed me along for half a block. Easiest block I've run with her. Until I died and I had to make her stop pushing me so I could walk.
Long story short, there's hope for me! Remember the half I started running with Sarah? And had to stop and walk after a measly mile? I kept up with her the whole time last Saturday. Ok, I lied again. She walked with me twice, and Angie passed us once and never looked back at us slow pokes, but that's my fault, not Sarah's. She could have rocked the course, too.
My running partners are so nice to me. They sacrifice all thoughts of their own fitness just so I can keep up and not feel like such a slow poke. Maybe one day I can repay them. Or just keep up so they can reap some cardio benefits, too. Either way.

Truth be told. I never would have started running in the first place without you inspiring me to do so. Thanks.

I will sit down and pray for stephanie and christian.
if i tried to run for them it might curse and progress they might make.

this was supposed to be a funny comment, but i feel tired, not funny so i am afraid that it sounds mean.
NOT my intention, so just pretend to be amused
