living in my kitchen, in hopes of scoring a free meal:
The fruit is gone.
I ate it all. And made cobbler out of the rest. And ate that, too.
There is no more fruit.
Listen carefully. No. More. Fruit.
Please leave.
Thank you.
Sincerely, the lousy housekeeper.

Ugh! I HATE fruit flies! It's like they magically appear out of thin air!
get apple cider vinegar and dishsoap in a cup. Set several thru your kitchen. I think I might have put plastic wrap on top and poked tiny holes...don't remember. They'll live in you sink drains for MONTHS! Yuck!
You are so entertaining!
I know the secret to avoiding them! I've done it for the first year ever! Put your house on the market so you don't actually do any particularly great baking or cooking....or, especially, canning. Leave all the fruit in the refrigerator because "the kitchen must be spotless". Voila! No fruit flies! (ps: makes for not such a fun life, though....)
Thanks, friend, for the yummies today!
Umm, hello.
Why are you sending them to Tennessee?
My kitchen is filled with them....
