Fun day

So on the spur of the moment, I decided to try and make play dough. I thought maybe we'd come up with a mediocre version that the kids could play with before it got gross, but it turned out really well! I would even go so far as to say that it acts like the store bought stuff.

And just a heads up, Fred is getting his (leg) braces tomorrow! He was a little apprehensive when his doc first suggested them but we went to see the prosthetic orthopedic guy and he had a sample that Fred tried on and walked around in a bit. He's getting more excited as time passes as he realizes how much easier it will be to walk now. I'll see if I can talk him into letting me video him walking with and without the braces so we can see the difference.
