I LOVE...

--being able to leave every single one of my kids at home when I head to the post office for the 3rd time this week.

--my baby that walks like a drunk.

--the snowplow that came with Fred's 4wheeler.

--that my oldest thinks it's great fun to help his dad shovel the sidewalk.

--my bff that doesn't complain when I invite her to "run a few errands" and then refuse to take her home until 4 hours later after we have hit every fabric store in the state looking for the perfectly matching ribbons and beads.

--my husband that let me be lazy in bed on our anniversary while he got up and changed diapers and made pancakes for the kids.

--squishy little newborn baby faces even if I only get to see them online.

--that my kids' school thinks we're destitute since Fred was off work for 2 weeks and sent home $120 in Quarters for Christmas shoe certificates. Of course, they're tickled pink. Or camo. What color do boys get tickled anyway? (btw, we're not destitute, thank you. no trip to hawaii, but not destitute)

--that Dot thinks it's great fun to play CareBears with her mom. I don't necessarily like PLAYING CareBears all day, but I love that she wants to play with me, even if it out of default because the only other playmate option is the baby.

--Fred, who has put up with me for an even dozen years. LONG LIVE MARRIAGE!

Ohhh. Thank you for your perspective on playing carebears. I often tire from endless games of "hi," but i ought to take a page out of your book and be grateful she wants to play with ME.
