Note to Self:

When you spray paint the basement window black to light proof your new makeshift darkroom, make sure the heater isn't going to kick on and spread the fumes throughout the whole house. We're talking major headache material here.

Although maybe if you made enough fumes down there the heater would combust and you could get a new house out of it, but if you're going to do that, make sure you get out of the house before the combustion happens. I'm just saying.

(The rest of the chemicals (fixer and stop bath) should be here in the next day or two. So excited. Stay tuned for homegrown pics.)

I spray painted our fireplace last year and didn't think about the pilot light that runs all the time. Boy did we get a surprise and a flame that came out of the bottom all along the floor. Freaked me out. Be careful!
