A Note from Ed

Dear mom:

Look, I can sit! And I'm only 9 1/2 months old! I bet you thought I'd never sit on my own, or roll over, or quit barfing 24/7. I was just testing your patience and seeing how long you would cater to my every whim before you snapped. (btw, i'm proud of you for not snapping. yet)

But let's get a few things straight. Just because you saw me roll my way across the floor does not mean that you can quit entertaining me every waking minute. Just because I can inch-worm a few feet to reach my toys and/or bottle does not mean that I intend to do it on a regular basis. In fact, I fully expect your full attention for the next month or so as I perfect my locomotion skills. No participating, just watch me. No blogging, just watch my new skills. Don't even think about trying to be productive in any way. It's all about me. (still)

Give me some time and I might even come up with another sound besides aaaaaaaahockaloogie. But maybe not for a while. I'm quite taken with the sound of aaaaaaaahockaloogie and apparently so are the chicks. Did you see all those ladies fawning over me in the hall at church? The ladies loooove the aaaaaaaahockaloogie. Just wait, it's gonna be the next catch phrase. All the babies will be saying it.

Maybe next week I'll think about not barfing everything you feed me, but don't hold your breath. It's exhausting being this amazing.

Love, your favorite son Eddie.

Oh, no you didn't just turn to your google reader. Get off that computer and come feed me sumthin.

Have you ever gone through pictures and come up with the person in the picture might have been thinking when the picture was taken?! Deanna and I used to have so much fun going through yearbooks and making up stupid things that the people were thinking. Perfect example with J's pics!!
