I've mentioned that I'm a chronic overachiever. Well, I'm not the only one. Meet my brother Michael. He can do it all. He paints, sculpts, teaches, and is currently building his own house. Apparently, he also dreams up ways to cheat at pool.
.
See that double circle under the ball? There is a line running across both circles, with a dot in the middle of the one circle and the other has a semi-circle cut out so you can slide it under the ball. The key is to line up the line on the paper circles with the ball and the pocket you want. Then, you just aim for the dot on the first circle.
.
I know, we just complicated the game of pool ten-fold. But try it, it works! And then throw away the paper and just have a little fun.
I think Art got the chronic overachiever gene. He got two circles going so he could use the green ball to hit the red ball in. (btw, there really aren't red lines. I painted them in like the snazzy yard lines in the football games so you could maybe kinda see what goes on in our twisted minds to make all this make sense. you likee?)
And if that isn't enough, here's one for those impossible bank shots. It's adjustable... you put the wheels against the side of the table and line the arrows up so one is pointing through the ball you want and then at the pocket, and the other at the cue ball. Then you put a penny on the side of the table where the two lines meet and aim for it (in the circle right in front of Art) You can see that Art didn't line it up quite right as he is going to hit the side of the table and not the pocket, but you get the point.
Welcome to my world. Nothing's simple around here because we always find a way to complicate it. Hey, atleast we're all on the same chronic wavelength.
