I once heard that when you're driving down the road, you're basically exercising faith that your fellow drivers will drive responsibly.
Made sense to me. And then I saw this on the way to Ikea. A huge semi with 15 gagillion wheels on it, minus one. I guess if he has all those other ones, it might not make a huge difference if he's missing one, but I'm still glad I wasn't next to him when it blew. And the funny thing is, I'm not sure he had any idea. Maybe he thought he was living up to our faith in him. Oops!

When I drive near a semi, I speed up to get out of their way. I certainly don't want to be nearby if/when a tire explodes either!
