Went on a date to the dentist with the hubby. It's something we do twice a year, without fail. I got my first new cavity since we've been married. Ugh.
I love going to the dentist with Fred, though, because it means a guaranteed lunch date afterwards. Today we went to the mall because I was craving a California Roll and if you can get past the fact that they've been sitting in the display case for an hour or two, you can pretend it's leftover Happy Sumo rolls.
Aaaaack!! Look what they did to the treehouse!

I thought they were just going to move it away from where the flood happened. I didn't realize they were going to commit tree genocide. Granted, the slide stunk and you got stuck halfway down if you didn't take your shoes off, but come on, I still would have planted it in my backyard if they had offered it. Never mind that I don't need a styrofoam treehouse.
So sad. Such a waste.
Someone call Greenpeace. Greenspan. Green celebrities who care. We want our play place back, and we're not shopping here until we get one. We need something to bribe the kids with so they'll behave.

I am not sad to see it go. It was a cool concept, but I couldn't see where my kids were and it wasn't enclosed so I always felt anxious about where my kids were and what crazy person might have snatched them! So now I like going to the mall, because there is NO treehouse. But they really should have sent it to your backyard--THAT would be nice
shelane, they are building a newer, cooler kids play area. don't worry.
OK, I must be reeeeeaaaallllyyy out of the loop! What treehouse? Where was it? What mall?
Signed, your totally dumb-dumb neighbor
ps: were they stale? I tried to do it anonymously but I need to "come out" because Scott informed me that he didn't ring the bell and run when he left them there....which is what any sane person would do....because who wants stale brownies that have been sitting out all night?
