This is how it coulda happened:
Mom gets out of the shower and hears the baby screaming. She knows she should have locked him in the room because big sister is up and about and has already found scissors and doesn't need any help finding a new project. Usually mom combs hair and brushes teeth before leaving the bathroom but she decides to go check on the baby first. No problem, big sister is standing next to the bed saying, "shhhh."
This is how it shoulda happened:
Mom gets out of the shower and hears the baby screaming. She is glad she remembered to lock him in the room because big sister is up and about and has already found scissors and doesn't need any help finding a new project. She calmly combs her hair and brushes her teeth before leaving the bathroom to check on the baby.
This is how it did happen:
Mom gets out of the shower and hears the baby screaming. She knows she should have locked him in the room because big sister is up and about and has already found scissors and doesn't need any help finding a new project. Usually mom combs hair and brushes teeth before leaving the bathroom but she decides to go check on the baby first. Good idea, mom. A little late, but atleast the poopy diaper that big sister tried to change is still under baby and the poop has stayed on his kicking legs and hasn't gotten much on mom's sheets. And big sister hasn't figured how to open the bottle of kid-e-col so instead of force feeding it to him, she has merely irritated the heck out of him to the point of desperation.

That is funny! I can't tell you how may crazy things have happend with the kids while I am in the shower. One time Forbes shoved a bunch of Lucky Charms marshmellows into both ears--kids are great.
What a sweet little girl, trying to be a mommy. I love it. You have such a fun way of writing. So entertaining!
