Another Last

Here's to another "this is the last time I'm ever going to do this again." We blessed Ed Sunday. He's the only one to get a store bought blessing outfit. Which wouldn't stay buttoned. Fred's mom gave me the shoes that he wore as a baby, and Ed fit them! (I say this because the other kids had feet so long that they wouldn't have fit) It was a great day, and I even had some of MY family attend, which is nice. The only downside was technical difficulties. I always record their blessings and type them up, but it didn't work this time. So not only will I not have a record of it, I didn't even listen! Dot was fussing and I thought I would get a chance to read it later, so I paid my attention to her. Grrr. Oh, well. It really was a nice day. Great weather, my family to hang out with, and rubberbanded sink sprayers.



Oh, you didn't hear about that? Didn't know sink sprayers had rubber bands on them? Well, apparently they do in my house. I head into the house to help clean up and my mom is on the floor getting ready to mop. (the table was in the backyard so we thought it was a prime opportunity and shouldn't be counted as breaking the Sabbath) She asks if I could get her a wet rag. Sure, if you're going to mop my kitchen, I'll get you anything you want. I go to wet the rag in the sink and the sink explodes all over my shirt. Michael thought it would be funny to put a rubberband around the sprayer handle and aim it at the front of the sink, although I hear that Norene is the real mastermind behind the prank. They had already gotten my mom and she was kind enough to want me to join in the fun. Well, if we're having a party, might as well get Amber and Joe in on it, too. Poor Amber, she's a little shorter so that where I got sprayed on my belly area, she got sprayed a little higher. Too bad we weren't having a wet t-shirt contest, she would have won!
